Characters Present[]

Summary[]

Reed has lost his dog, Banjo, and asks the Fresh Beats to help him with the search. They chase Banjo all over town, and he keeps slipping away at the last second. The Fresh Beats and Reed finally figure out that Banjo can be lured by music. Depending on whether they play their music fast or slow, Banjo will either move towards them, or away from them.

Plot[]

Marina begins the episode by tapping her drumsticks outside the apartment. Kiki and Shout come from the apartment as they prepare to jam in the park. Twist was the only one who was not ready yet; he was still in the apartment. He eventually came out of the apartment with a flashlight and a hard hat that was also equipped with a flashlight. Twist mistakenly believed they were going to jam in the dark when they were actually going to jam in the park. He put away his evening gear when the other Fresh Beats confirmed that for him. Because it's a sunny day, the Fresh Beats put on sunscreen before they started dancing. Shout, Kiki, and Marina's faces were all various hues when they applied sunblock. Shout's face turned green, Kiki's blue, and Marina's purple. Twist told them they were ready to go after they properly rubbed in the sunblock, and they sang "Let's Dance Everyone".

Reed is seen dashing by with a dog on a leash after the song has ended. The dog's name is Banjo, and he was walking him for a friend, he said. The Fresh Beats eventually made their way to the park to begin working on their song. Shout, on the other hand, kept howling like a dog as they were rehearsing. It turns out, Banjo, not Shout, was the one who was howling. When Banjo heard the Fresh Beats practicing their song, he came over to the park. Reed arrives at the same time. While he was there, Banjo took Marina's drumstick away from her. The Fresh Beats tried but failed to grab Banjo's drumstick away from him. As a result, Twist devised a plan to obtain a real stick in exchange for Marina's drumstick. Twist eventually snatched the drumstick from Banjo and tossed it to Marina, but Banjo took Twist's headphones instead of the stick. The Fresh Beats sing an extended version of "No Problem We Can't Solve" while chasing Banjo for Twist's headphones.

The song concludes, and the Fresh Beats retrieve Twist's headphones but don't find Banjo. Twist has a good nose, so he uses it to figure out where Banjo went. The Fresh Beats arrive at the apartment, and Twist summons Banjo by making loud dog noises. Banjo eventually arrives at the apartment and hides and camouflages himself in several locations so that the Fresh Beats won't be able to find him. Banjo dresses up in a silly costume, which Twist believed was an actual person. Twist eventually figured out who it was, but as soon as he did, Banjo bolted out of the apartment complex and into the park, causing the Fresh Beats to chase him again.

The Fresh Beats arrived at the park but were exhausted because they couldn't find Banjo. Twist then gets the brilliant idea of going to the pet store and buying a gigantic remote-controlled dog biscuit to use as bait to attract Banjo to return to them. Marina agrees that it's a good idea, but she proposes that they utilize something they already have to get Banjo to return. The Fresh Beats decided to question Reed because they didn't know what Banjo liked. According to Reed, Banjo likes music, and since the Fresh Beats like to play music, Kiki uses her violin to attract Banjo. Banjo begins to approach them as Kiki plays her violin. Kiki eventually started playing lower notes on her violin, which repelled Banjo. Kiki returned to playing higher notes, and Banjo started to come back to them. As a result of this event, Kiki notices that Banjo prefers music with high notes.

Banjo was drawn to the park by the Fresh Beats and Reed, where they could finally begin performing their song! Banjo appeared to want to play music with them as they began to play their song. Banjo leaves the park, and it appears that he is fleeing, but he is actually gathering his other friends so that they can jam along as well. The song "Join Our Jammin' Jam!" plays after he gathers his friends. When the song ends, Twist pulls out a tennis ball for Banjo to chase, and Shout says that it was a great day.
