"Glow for It" is an episode of The Fresh Beat Band from the first season. This episode was on iTunes - Haunted Halloween Vol.3 Characters Present[]Summary[]It's the moonlight block party and everyone is decorating the street. The Fresh Beat Band start their show and all the lights go out! They make glow stick costumes and the party becomes a glow-in-the-dark extravaganza! Plot[]With a new pair of drumsticks, Marina rushes towards the apartment. She enters the apartment, closes the blinds shut, and turns off the lights. She plays the drums in complete darkness, and it turns out that her drumsticks glow in the dark! Kiki is shown in her room playing her guitar while Marina is playing her drums. Kiki makes the decision to go to the lobby to see Marina play her drums. Twist and Shout are currently playing checkers in Shout's room. They decide to conclude their game of checkers so they can go see Marina after hearing her play the drums. Additionally, Shout executed a move in their game of checkers to defeat Twist before they went to see Marina. Kiki, Shout, and Twist come out of their rooms to see Marina playing the drums and immediately notice that the lights are off. Shout turns on the lights and then asks Marina why she turned the lights off in the first place. In order to demonstrate to them why, Marina asked Shout to turn the lights off. Shout dims the lights, then Marina continues to play her drums, causing Twist, Kiki, and Shout to see that Marina's drumsticks have a glow-in-the-dark quality. Shout turns the lights back on, and Shout, Twist, and Kiki all remark on how awesome Marina's drumsticks were. Twist, Kiki, and Shout wished Marina would continue playing the drums as an encore. Shout, once again, turned off the lights so Marina could play the drums again. After turning the lights back on, Shout asks Marina where she got those glow-in-the-dark drumsticks from. Marina claims that Reed's music store is where she received them, and she plans to use them on the moonlight block later. Marina continues by saying that they must prepare something unique, something hip-hop and popping awesome for the moonlight block party. Twist, Kiki, and Shout were curious to see if Reed had any more glow-in-the-dark instruments so they could play them at the party, so the Fresh Beats decided to visit The Good Note Music Store to check if Reed had any. They sing an extended version of "Get Up And Go Go" as they prepare to go to Reed's music store. The Fresh Beats are now at The Good Note Music Store. At his store, Reed is seen hanging decorations. When the Fresh Beats show up, they shock Reed and cause one of his decorations to fall into his saxophone. Reed plays the saxophone after the ornament lands inside of it to make the ornament adhere to the ceiling. Twist gives Reed another decoration since the Fresh Beats want him to play the saxophone once more. So Reed plays the saxophone with the decoration inside, and makes it stick to the ceiling. Marina tells Reed that she loves her glow-in-the-dark drumsticks and cannot wait to use them at the moonlight block party. Kiki goes on to tell Reed that she, along with Twist and Shout, wants instruments that glow in the dark as well. Unfortunately, Reed didn't have any more instruments that glowed in the dark. Reed did, however, have a large box of glow-in-the-dark decorations, which included light sticks, stars, planets, and much more. Because of Reed's glow-in-the-dark decorations, Marina gets the notion to decorate the entire street for the moonlight block party. Reed suggests that they use his decorations in order to decorate for the party. Shout concerns that the one box of decorations won't be enough to decorate the entire street, but it really does contain a wide variety of decorations. There is even a pizza box which contains a pineapple pizza. While the Fresh Beats and Reed are decorating for the party, the Fresh Beats sing an extended rendition of the song "Friends Give Friends A Hand." After the song is over, Melody and the Fresh Beats comment on how groovy The Groovy Smoothie looks after the Fresh Beats decorate it. Twist believed that The Groovy Smoothie could, however, be even more awesome. He then takes out one of the planet decorations from the box of decorations. Although Marina claims that the décor would be even better with one of the other planet decorations she picked out. Kiki, Shout, and Melody all agree that it is more awesome. Although everyone agreed that it was more awesome, Twist believed it would be even more awesome when he pulled out a space helmet and an umbrella. Naturally, Marina couldn't understand how an umbrella and space helmet could be so awesome. Then, Twist takes a huge rocket ship out of the box and uses it to launch himself into space. Twist locates Saturn while he is in space and moves it all the way down to The Groovy Smoothie. Marina acknowledges that Saturn is a pretty awesome ornament when Twist returns to Earth. The Fresh Beats have finished decorating the street after more time has passed. Twist continues to believe that the street needs one more item to be completed. He then thinks of an idea to make a lasso out of a particularly long rope and throw it in the air to catch the moon and draw it down so that it can be used as a decoration. Although Marina does agree that it's a good idea, she proposes that they utilize a giant decorative moon as a finishing touch. To add a final touch to the decorative moon, Twist pushed a button in order to make it luminate. It was time to start the party now that the Fresh Beats had finished decorating! The Fresh Beats are prepared to perform their song and have set up their equipment. Twist was going to make all the decorations illuminate with the push of a button. Twist is ready to press the button, but he hesitates and continues chatting instead. When it happened, Kiki, Shout, and Marina yelled at Twist to press the button immediately. When Twist eventually pressed the button, all of the decorations illuminated brightly. The Fresh Beats started to play their song, but the lights abruptly dimmed and went out. The celebration couldn't continue since nobody could see anything due to the lights malfunctioning. Reed decides to try fixing the lights. Shout is concerned about what might occur if Reed is unable to fix the lights. As Twist observes, the only thing that would be visible is Marina's drumsticks, which glow in the dark. Marina then gets the bright idea of getting them glow-in-the-dark costumes to wear while they dance and sing. So, the Fresh Beats perform "Nighttime Surprise" while singing and dancing. Reed eventually fixes the lights as the Fresh Beats play their song. The Fresh Beats finished singing their song, and everyone enjoyed themselves at the party, with or without the lights. Reed compliments the Fresh Beats' performance as being outstanding. He really adored the Fresh Beats' costumes that illuminated in the dark when the lights were out. Shout adds that playing music at night was fantastic. The word "encore" is frequently shouted by everyone, signifying their desire for the Fresh Beats to continue performing. The Fresh Beats sang "Great Day" to round out the evening because both the day and the night were, of course, great. Songs[]
