Plot[]

Twist is outside, and he tells the viewer about the talent show that is going to happen at Music School and that people will have lots of magnificent acts, such as playing the tuba and roller skating while playing trombone. Twist reveals that he plans on juggling for the talent show, but he ends up losing control of the juggling balls and they end up in Reed's hands. Since Twist was with Reed, he tells him about the talent show that is going to occur and asks him for ideas. After some thinking, Reed thought of the perfect, coolest thing that Twist could do at the talent show. But first, Reed took a scarf and, using it, he made all the instruments on the table disappear and made a magic kit appear.

Reed reveals that there are all sorts of magic tricks inside the box that Twist could use for the talent show. After pulling out the items in the box, which were a magic wand, top hat, and a magic scarf, Reed mentions that in order for Twist's magic tricks to work properly, he has to say the magic words the correct way. So Twist asks him to repeat those magic words, which were "koogle flugel, bugle strudel, cha-cha-choogle," but when Reed was saying the phrase, someone playing the trombone was passing by, so it was hard for Twist to hear. Then, Twist asks Reed to repeat the phrase one more time, and someone else was passing by on a bike, but Twist claimed that he understood the phrase.

Next, Twist goes into the apartment with the other Fresh Beats to show him the magic box and suggests that they do magic tricks for the Music School talent show. The other Fresh Beats eventually are convinced that it's a good idea, but first they have to get ready for Music School, so they sing the song "School Days" as they are getting ready.

After they sing the song, Shout suggests that Twist should show one of his magic tricks, and so the trick that Twist tries to do is to make pretty flowers appear in a vase. As he was performing the magic trick, Twist asked Marina for a drumroll. And due to him saying the magic words incorrectly, instead of flowers appearing from the vase, a swarm of ping-pong balls arose from the vase and made a mess everywhere in the lobby! Some ping-pong balls even popped out of his pockets. Shout puts the vase of arising ping-pong balls into his room, but it only causes more ping-pong balls to multiply.

Since Twist didn't succeed in trying to make flowers appear, he decided to do the magician classic, trying to make a rabbit appear out of a hat. At first, it seemed like nothing came out of the hat, but then another swarm of ping-pong balls flew out of the hat. Since their apartment is very messy, they sing "No Problem We Can't Solve" while they are cleaning up. It is also shown that there were ping-pong balls coming from Kiki's room as well. The ways that they try to get rid of the balls are by using brooms, a net, and even some ping-pong paddles to combat them. They eventually and successfully cleaned up all of the ping-pong balls and put them back in the magic hat.

After cleaning up, Twist is flustered as to what he's doing wrong; why the magic tricks aren't coming out properly. Kiki suggests that maybe the magic words he is saying aren't the right magic words, then Shout suggests that maybe Twist should try different magic words. Twist takes Shout's suggestion and tries to make an extra ping-pong ball disappear. Twist performed the magic trick, but instead of making the ball disappear, Kiki, Shout, and Marina's instruments disappeared. Twist tried to use magic to make their instruments re-appear, and the instruments did appear, but not their instruments. The instrument that appeared for Shout were a keytar, an upright bass for Kiki, and a "regular" drumset for Marina.

Twist once again tried to make their instruments re-appear, but instead of their instruments re-appearing, he switched up all of their voices. Twist had Kiki's voice, Kiki had Shout's voice, Shout had Marina's voice, and Marina had Twist's voice. Twist actually liked the idea of their voices being mixed up, but the others insisted that it most certainly wasn't a good idea. So Twist tries to do a magic trick to give back their voices and their instruments too, but ends up transporting them outside of Music School. Twist once again tries to fix the issue with their voices and instruments and ends up transporting them inside of Music School. Thankfully, they all have their voices back, but sadly, not their instruments.

Ms. Piccolo wonders how the Fresh Beats got to Music School so fast and Shout jokingly says that they "popped in." Anxious about the fact that it's almost their turn to perform for the talent show, the Fresh Beats still don't know what to do about their instruments. Then, Twist had an idea that they can go to a claw machine game and keep on playing until they can get instruments that were just like their original ones in order to play in the talent show. While Marina agreed that it was a cool idea, she suggested that they can just play at the talent show with their new instruments since they are pretty much the same as their regular instruments. Understandably, Twist first says that he won't do any more magic but Marina claims that they actually want him to do magic and that he should keep trying to get the correct magic words.

As the Fresh Beats are performing, they sing the song "Magic," and Twist does lots of tricks, such as switching the person playing each instrument, making things appear, etc. There were even some other acts shown during the talent show, such as people dancing, doing ballet, roller skating while playing the trumpet, and more. After the Fresh Beats finished their performance, everyone loved it, and Ms. Piccolo thought of it as being magically musical. Then she exited the room singing a part of their song. Since Kiki, Shout, and Marina still needed their instruments back, Twist was still thinking of the correct magic words. Then, a man playing the bugle reminded him of the correct magic words: "koogle flugel, bugle strudel, cha-cha-choogle." He recited this phrase, then Kiki, Shout, and Marina got their instruments back, and Twist returned the magic kit back to Reed.
